Signal Space, a new permanent gallery for digital art, is opening in Prague, the Czech Republic on 30 September.
Via a press release, Signal Space is a new kind of gallery, a purpose-built space for light design, visual media and digital art.
Its inaugural exhibition, Echoes of Tomorrow, “explores how our visions of the future shape today”, said Signal Space founder Martin Pošta.
“How dreams of what’s to come leave echoes in what already is. And how these echoes in our cities, our technologies, and our emotions – are beginning to take form now,” Pošta added.
Echoes of Tomorrow will feature eight artworks, including ‘Signes’ by Playmodes Studio, an audiovisual canvas of movement, light and sound, driven by generative algorithms.
‘intangible #form’ by Shohei Fujimoto is another artwork, and it explores the process of perception through spatial structures composed of laser light.
