1.3 The operation of Signal Playground is governed by the applicable laws of the Czech Republic, particularly in the areas of occupational health and safety (OHS), fire safety, and hygiene standards.

2.2 Last admission is 30 minutes before closing time.

2.3 The operator reserves the right to shorten or change operating hours, or to temporarily close part or all of the gallery, for operational, technical, or other serious reasons (e.g., a private event, preparation for an installation). The public will be informed of these changes in a timely manner on the website. Thank you for your understanding.

3. Admission and Tickets

3.1 Admission is permitted with a valid ticket, reservation, or accreditation. Visitors are required to retain their ticket or other document authorizing entry for the duration of their visit. Visitors must present their ticket for inspection upon request by staff.

3.2 The admission price list, types of discounts available, and other services provided can be found online on our website and at the ticket office.

3.3 Visitors must prove their eligibility for discounted admission by presenting the appropriate valid ID (e.g., student ID, ZTP card, or identification to verify age for seniors). Without presenting the relevant documentation, the discount cannot be granted.

3.4 Purchased tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. The admission fee will be refunded in full only if the exhibition or event is canceled by the gallery, or if a visit is prevented by a serious operational or technical failure on the part of the operator.

4.3 The operator is not liable for any loss or damage to items stored in the lockers, particularly valuables (e.g., jewelry, cash, electronics, documents) or fragile items. Storing these items in the lockers is solely at the visitor's own risk.

4.4 For operational and safety reasons, strollers are not permitted in the exhibition spaces. Upon prior arrangement with staff, a stroller may be parked in a designated, unattended area at the visitor's own risk.

4.5 The operator assumes no responsibility for items left unattended or forgotten in any areas of Signal Playground other than the lockable lockers.

5. Responsibility for Supervision of Children and Exclusion of the Operator's Liability

5.1 Children under the age of 12 may enter and move about the premises only under the continuous supervision of an adult with full legal capacity (parent, legal guardian, teacher, etc., hereinafter referred to as the "accompanying adult").

5.2 The accompanying adult bears full and exclusive responsibility for the safety, behavior, and conduct of the child in their care throughout their entire stay on the Signal Playground premises. The operator assumes no obligation to supervise children and does not offer a babysitting service.

5.3 The operator is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or other harm to health or property resulting from:

  • insufficient, negligent, or interrupted supervision by the accompanying adult,
  • inappropriate behavior, overestimation of abilities, or failure to follow the rules by the child or the accompanying adult,
  • use of the facilities in a manner inconsistent with their nature, purpose, or staff instructions.

5.4 The accompanying adult is required to remain in the immediate vicinity of the child so as to be able to intervene immediately and effectively. Leaving a child without active supervision is strictly prohibited.

5.5 The operator's staff is authorized to actively seek out the guardian of a child who is clearly unsupervised on the premises and to strongly urge that guardian to fulfill their duty of supervision. Failure to fulfill this duty may result in expulsion from the premises without a refund of the admission fee.

5.6 The accompanying adult is required to immediately inform gallery staff of any damage to the premises, equipment, or exhibited works caused by the adult or the child in their care, whether intentionally or through negligence.

5.7 The accompanying adult's liability for any damage caused and the extent of compensation are governed by the applicable laws of the Czech Republic (in particular the Civil Code). The accompanying adult is fully liable for any damage or injury resulting from the child's failure to comply with the visitor rules or the instructions of the staff.

6.2 The operator reserves the right to temporarily restrict entry to the premises if the maximum safe capacity is reached. Thank you for your understanding.

6.3 Accompanying adults are required to familiarize the child with the rules of conduct on the premises and, before using any equipment, to assess whether it is appropriate for the child's age, abilities, and current state of health. Particular supervision is required for children under 3 years of age.

6.4 The following are prohibited on the premises:

  • Using play equipment in a dangerous or inappropriate manner, climbing on installations, sitting on them, or otherwise mishandling them.
  • Running, throwing objects, or behaving in a way that could endanger the safety and health of other visitors.
  • Bringing in your own toys, roller skates, scooters, etc.
  • Consuming food and beverages outside of designated areas.
  • Bringing in dangerous items, i.e., any weapons, knives, and other sharp objects, defensive sprays, and other hazardous substances and items.

  • Smoking. This prohibition applies to both traditional and electronic cigarettes (vaping) and is in effect in all indoor areas.
  • Entry will be denied to individuals who are clearly under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. It is prohibited to bring alcoholic beverages, narcotics, toxic substances, or chemicals into the gallery premises or to handle them in any way.

6.5 Visitors are required to follow the instructions of the staff. In the event of a gross or repeated violation of these Rules, a visitor may be expelled without a refund of the admission fee.

7. School and Organized Groups

7.1 Admission for organized groups is permitted only with a prior reservation. The maximum number of children per group is 25. The operator reserves the right to deny admission to a group without a valid reservation.

7.2 For every 10 children, at least one responsible adult chaperone must be present, who actively ensures continuous supervision, monitoring, and safety of the children at all times and is obligated to ensure that all children in the group behave safely and in accordance with these visitor rules.

7.3 The supervising adult bears full responsibility for the entire group. If the group's supervising adult seriously violates the rules (particularly the duty of supervision), the entire group may be expelled without entitlement to a refund of the admission fee or any other compensation.

8. Photography and Audiovisual Recordings

8.1 Photography and video recording for personal, non-commercial purposes are permitted. When taking photos or recording videos, the use of flash, tripods, selfie sticks, stabilizers (gimbals), and any other auxiliary lighting or stabilization equipment is strictly prohibited.

8.2 Any recording for commercial, editorial, artistic, promotional, or non-personal purposes requires prior written consent from the operator. To negotiate terms and obtain permission, please contact the gallery's PR department.

8.3 When taking photos or videos, always respect the privacy of other visitors. It is strictly prohibited to intentionally photograph or film other people's children without the express consent of their guardians. The person who takes the photos or videos bears full responsibility for all content captured and any subsequent sharing thereof.

8.4 The operator reserves the right to take photographs and make audiovisual recordings on the premises for reporting and marketing purposes (e.g., for social media and the website).

8.5 By entering the premises, visitors acknowledge that they may be captured in these recordings. The recording is made based on the operator's legitimate interest in promoting the event. If a visitor does not wish to be filmed, they are required to inform the staff.

9. Medical and Emergency Situations

9.1 In the event of an injury, illness, or other emergency, immediately contact the staff, who are trained to provide first aid and call emergency services.

9.2 Even in the event of an emergency (injury, evacuation), full responsibility for the child remains with the person accompanying the child.

10. Final Provisions

10.1 The premises are monitored by a camera system for the purpose of ensuring safety and protecting property, in accordance with the GDPR. Detailed information about the processing of personal data is available on our website.

10.2 The operator reserves the right to update these Rules.

Thank you for respecting the rules. Together, we create a safe and inspiring space.
