1. WELCOME TO SIGNAL SPACE

Signal Space is a gallery of digital and immersive art. A place where space and time shift. To make sure everyone enjoys it safely and respectfully, we have a few simple rules. By entering Signal Space, visitors confirm they have read and agree to these rules. Operation complies with Czech laws, especially in health & safety, fire protection, and hygiene.

2. OPENING HOURS

• Current times are listed on our website and social media.
• Last entry is 30 minutes before closing.
• The operator reserves the right to change opening hours or temporarily close the venue.

3. ENTRY AND TICKETS

• Entry is only allowed with a valid ticket, reservation, or accreditation.
• Prices and discounts are published online and at the ticket counter.
• A ticket grants access to all currently running exhibitions.
• Reduced tickets must be properly documented.
• Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
• Ticket refunds are only granted if the event is cancelled by the operator or if a technical issue prevents entry.
• Payments accepted by card, cash, or online.
  
  

4. CLOAKROOM, LOCKERS & PERSONAL ITEMS

• Backpacks, suitcases, umbrellas, and large coats are not allowed in the exhibition areas.
• Please leave them in self-service lockers located in the foyer.
• Lockers are not designed for safekeeping of valuables.
• The operator bears no responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage of items placed in lockers – especially valuables.
• Items left outside designated storage areas (e.g., on benches or windowsills) are also not covered.
• Strollers are not allowed inside the exhibition. They may be left in a designated area only after consultation with staff.

5. PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING

• Photography for personal use is generally allowed unless stated otherwise.
• Flash, tripods, selfie sticks, and drones are strictly prohibited.
• Commercial, editorial, or production shoots require written approval from the operator.

6. CHILDREN & GROUPS

• Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• School groups must be supervised by a teacher.
• Groups over 10 people must book in advance.
• The maximum group size is 40 people.

7. ACCESSIBILITY & CONSIDERATION

• Most areas are wheelchair accessible.
  We’re happy to assist – let us know on site or in advance.
• Some installations include strong lights, sound, or complete darkness – please consider your health condition.

8. WHAT NOT TO BRING OR DO

Not allowed:

• Weapons, sharp objects, sprays
• Food or drinks (except bottled water)
• Animals (except for assistance dogs)
• Smoking or vaping
• Touching artworks or sitting on installations
• Loud, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour
• Entry under the influence of alcohol or drugs

9. HEALTH, SAFETY & EMERGENCIES

• Always follow staff instructions and emergency signage.
• Some installations include strobe lights, flashes, or rapidly changing visuals. These may trigger discomfort or health issues, especially for those with epilepsy or photosensitivity. Visitors enter at their own risk.
• The operator is not responsible for any health issues caused by exposure to such effects.
• In case of injury or emergency, alert our team immediately.
• Fire extinguishers and emergency exits are located on each floor.
• In case of evacuation, follow the official Evacuation Plan.
• The entire venue is monitored by CCTV in accordance with applicable data protection laws (GDPR). More info at www.signalspace.com/gdpr.

10. DAMAGE & LIABILITY

• Please report any accidental or intentional damage to our staff.
• Damage will be handled in accordance with Czech law.
• Repeated rule violations may result in removal without ticket refund.

11. AV RECORDINGS & CONSENT

• Photography and filming may take place during normal operation, events, and exhibitions.
• By entering Signal Space, you agree that your likeness may be recorded and published (e.g., on social media, website, media coverage).
• If you prefer not to be captured, please notify staff on site.

12. FINAL NOTES

• This visitor policy is also available in Czech. In case of discrepancy, the Czech version prevails.
• The operator reserves the right to update these rules. The current version is always available at www.signalspace.com.
