Some evenings aren’t created simply to pad out the program. They’re created to transform the way we experience things familiar to us. The first edition of Signal Sounds—a new platform by Signal Space focused on music events at the intersection of sound, light, space, and digital art—will be just that. The premiere of this format will be opened by NobodyListen, one of the most prominent figures on the contemporary Czech music scene. His work spans rap, electronic music, and club culture, and he has long worked with intensity, atmosphere, and powerful energy.
At Signal Space, his set will take on a new dimension. The music won’t just play in front of the audience, but will envelop them from all sides. Signal Sounds is not based on the principle of a concert accompanied by visuals. It is a site-specific performance in which sound, image, and space function as a single entity, and the audience becomes part of the action. Here, digital art does not merely accompany the music but amplifies it into a fully immersive experience. The first edition will thus also present Signal Sounds in its purest form: as an entry into a living audiovisual organism that takes place only here and now.
The evening’s 360-degree projection was created by Lukáš Dřevjaný’s studio, whose work you may also recognize from the Signal Festival. Thanks to this projection, the evening will be more than just a music event; it will be a one-time experience built on intensity, limited capacity, and an experience that cannot be replicated in the same form.
The first edition of Signal Sounds will take place on May 14, 2026, at Signal Space on Rytířská Street in Prague. Doors open at 7:30 PM, the immersive set will run from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and the evening will conclude with an afterparty.
