The Signal Space digital gallery project has received a prestigious international Inavation Award. The jury ranked it among the world's best projects in audiovisual technology and immersive installations that draw visitors directly into the action. The Signal Space gallery creates an audiovisual environment that surrounds visitors, engaging them as an active part of the artistic experience.

International competition and the fusion of art, technology, and education

Signal Space succeeded against tough competition from the USA, the UK, Asia, and the Middle East. Among the nominees in the same category as the Prague gallery were institutions such as teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi and the Sherwood Observatory Planetarium in the UK.

The jury particularly praised the ability to merge digital art, light, sound, and movement into an accessible yet ambitious format that is open to a wide audience – including children, families, and schools.

A long-term cultural platform in the heart of Prague

"This award confirms that a project capable of succeeding on a global scale can indeed originate in Prague. We view Signal Space as a long-term commitment to the city – proof that contemporary culture, technology, and education can thrive within a historical context and earn international acclaim," says the project’s founder, Martin Pošta, adding: "We are delighted that our permanent exhibition has become a destination not only for local visitors but also for international tourists who come to Prague specifically to experience Signal Space."

"This victory clearly confirms the world-class quality of Martin Pošta and his team, who have achieved something that is truly beyond comparison. Above all, it is a well-deserved recognition of his long-term dedication," said Tomáš Portlík, a representative of the City of Prague, regarding the success.

"Winning the international Inavation Award is a major achievement not only for the Signal Space gallery but for the entire city of Prague. Digital art is a dynamically evolving field in which Prague has long supported innovative projects with international reach. The fact that a Prague-based gallery succeeded against global competition confirms the high standard of our local cultural scene and its ability to hold its own on the global map of contemporary art," added Tomáš Slabihoudek, Prague City Councilor for Culture.

Signal Space builds on the international reputation of Signal Festival, spanning over a decade, and evolves it into a year-round format. Winning the Inavation Award strengthens Prague's position as a city that is not only a custodian of cultural heritage but also an active creator of contemporary European culture and innovation.

Visit the award-winning exhibition: Echoes of Tomorrow

The Echoes of Tomorrow exhibition connects the future with the present. It explores how our visions of the future shape the here and now—how dreams of what is to come leave echoes in what already exists. And how these echoes—in our cities, technologies, and emotions—are beginning to manifest today.
