These awards, presented in Canada, are among the world’s most respected awards in the field of digital creativity. Each year, they highlight projects that push the boundaries of new technologies, immersive formats, and audiovisual language. For us, this award is clear proof that digital art no longer belongs solely to open-air festivals, but also works wonderfully in a year-round gallery space.

We impressed the expert jury with our exhibition Echoes of Tomorrow. It features leading names from both the international and Czech scenes, including studios and artists such as Playmodes, Shohei Fujimoto, Quayola, Ondřej Zunka, Zach Lieberman, and others. The result is an experience that leads the viewer not only to passive observation, but to a physical experience of space, light, and sound.
“The Prix Numix is confirmation for us that Prague has something to say on the global digital art scene. Signal Space was created in a location that had been waiting for years for a meaningful use, and today the Old Town Market Hall is a vibrant hub of digital culture that has caught the attention of international experts from Canada to Asia. This would not have been possible without the support of the City of Prague, without courageous artists, great partners, and the team that keeps it alive every day. This award belongs to all of them,” says Martin Pošta, head of Signal Space.
It turns out that the thoughtful transformation of the historic Old Town Market Hall makes perfect sense. Instead of a one-off festival event, we are successfully building a permanent platform where we can engage with digital art on a long-term, curatorial basis.
For you, our visitors, this means one thing - the world’s leading digital art is right at your fingertips in the heart of Prague, without the need to travel to international exhibitions.
Thank you for joining us on this journey and filling Signal Space with such wonderful energy. Come celebrate this success with us and experience the award-winning atmosphere firsthand!
