Signal Lab is a new hands-on workshop format focused on working with software, hardware and prototyping. It combines practical experimentation with developing your own ideas, putting you right at the heart of the creative process rather than simply showing you the finished result.
The first workshop will be led by Matěj Suchánek, co-founder and CTO of Spectoda. He’ll introduce you to the fundamentals of light programming and show you how to work with Spectoda controllers – technology designed for interactive light installations and creative projects.
The programming is based on a simple visual approach reminiscent of Scratch, so no previous coding experience is required. All you need to bring is your own laptop and a USB-C cable.
And the experimenting doesn’t end when the workshop does. You’ll take home the Spectoda controller you use during the session, so you can continue developing your own projects, exploring new possibilities and building on what you’ve learned.
Come and discover how light is programmed – then start creating your own.
